Meet Tracy Lownsberry

Army Special Ops veteran. Father of three. The kind of advisor who tells you what you need to hear, not what sells the most product.

From Special Ops to Safe Money

Tracy Lownsberry spent eight years in U.S. Army Special Operations. Not behind a desk -- in the field, where the stakes were real and the margin for error was zero. That experience shaped everything about how he approaches retirement planning today.

After earning his BA in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University and completing his military service, Tracy made a decision that surprised some people. He went into financial services. Not because it was easy money. Because he saw too many good people getting bad advice -- hardworking Americans watching their retirement savings get chewed up by market downturns, hidden fees, and products they never fully understood.

He became what the industry calls a "Safe Money Analyst." In plain terms, that means Tracy specializes in retirement strategies backed by contractual guarantees -- not speculation, not hope, not market timing. Actual guarantees written into the contract.

Over the years, he's trained more than 3,000 financial professionals across the country on these strategies. He leads a team of over 50 independently contracted licensed professionals. And while plenty of advisors talk about putting clients first, Tracy built an entire practice around it.

It Was Never About the Money

Look, I'll be straight with you. I didn't get into this business because I love spreadsheets or because I thought "financial advisor" sounded impressive at dinner parties.

I got into this because I watched my own family members -- people who worked their whole lives -- get blindsided in retirement. Bad advice. Products they didn't understand. Risks nobody explained to them. And by the time they realized what happened, it was too late to fix it.

In the military, we had a saying: take care of your people. That's all this is. I take care of people. I tell them the truth about what their money is doing, I show them options that are actually guaranteed, and I let them decide. No pressure. No games.

If I can sit across from someone and show them how to retire without worrying about the stock market, without wondering if their income will run out, without losing sleep over things they can't control -- that's a good day. That's why I do this.

Faith, Family, and Doing Right

At the end of the day, Tracy is a husband and a dad before he's anything else. He and his wife Elizabeth are raising three young kids in Michigan, and that shapes how he thinks about everything -- including your retirement.

When you sit down with Tracy, you're not talking to someone who sees you as a commission check. You're talking to a guy who goes home to his family at night and wants to be able to look his kids in the eye. A guy whose faith calls him to do right by people, even when the easier path pays more.

That's not a sales pitch. It's just who he is. And honestly, it's why most of his clients find him in the first place -- through referrals from people who trust him enough to send their friends and family his way.
